Guide: How to Complete a Training Module
Want to build your skills, stand out among your competitors and learn from the experts in the animal health industry? Here’s what you need to do.
1. Create an Account
To complete a training module, you’ll need to register an account on Accelerate. Whether you’re a vet or retailer, you’ll be able to access an array of courses which vary from specialist merchandise advice to expert medical knowledge. There is no limit to how many courses you can complete.
2. Access the Trainings
When you have created an account and logged in, select the ‘Training’ tab to find the courses.
In the ‘Health’ section, you’ll find courses on Products, Parasites, Behaviour & Welfare, and Medicine & Surgery. Click on ‘Business’ to find Marketing and Merchandising courses. Or navigate to DRIVE where you’ll find the courses you need to complete for our DRIVE Education Program. For more information on the courses, click here. You’ll also be able to filter courses by ‘new’, ‘mini-course’, ‘vet’, ‘agency training’ and ‘updated’ by clicking on the tags beneath the search bar.
For Farm Animal agents who need to complete mandatory trainings, please click on the tag 'Agency Training'. This will filter the courses and mark those mandatory trainings with an asterisk *.
3. Begin a Course
To start a course, you’ll have to subscribe to the training first. Simply click on the training module you want to complete and you will be given the option to ‘Subscribe to training’.
When you click ‘Subscribe to training’, you’ll be asked to ‘Join training’.
Once you’ve hit this button, you can select ‘Start’ to begin the training.
4. Complete a Course
When you start the training, you’ll be taken to the course content. You can navigate backwards and forwards through the content by clicking the small arrow buttons highlighted below. When you’ve scrolled down, you’ll also see a white arrow in a blue square which you can use to jump back to the top of the page. Click ‘Next’ after you’ve finished reading through all the content and feel comfortable with your learning to be taken to the quiz.
5. Do the Quiz
To start the quiz, click ‘Next' to be taken to the first quiz question.
In the quiz, you will be presented with different types of questions including multiple choice, true or false and drag & drop. In some multiple-choice questions, you may be expected to give more than one answer. Follow the instructions in the question and simply click on the answer(s) you believe to be correct.
6. Celebrate (hopefully)!
For most of the courses, you’ll need to achieve a score of 100% in order to pass and receive your certificate. Don’t worry if you don’t pass first time, you can go back and try again as many times as you want until you do. For guidance on how to access and download your certificates, click here.
